Helping others out:)

So does anyone else get that warm happy excited feeling after you helped someone out?
Reply with your experiences and what troubles you helped with! :)

I like helping folks out. I help because I was helped. There was a guide by the name of D13 who helped me when I was a guide. Here was the thing. I was on staff here, and was embarrassed by the fact that I didn't know how to root. I had the Droid X. He walked me through it and helped me through the inevitable droid x bricks.

Because of that, I've helped many, many people here. I've even helped them over the phone. I walked folks through rooting and unbricking, etc. When I because a moderator, I became too busy to help as many folks out. I miss that though. :(

I love helping others out. IMO there are plenty of different ways to help others on the forums. Back when I had a TB there were a few power users and we stuck around to help out with bricks and random support for others. I went to the Gnex and there are so many power users I have a hard time getting to a thread before the issue is resolved often. I will with other things often times they will be overlooked or silent. It could be trying to brighten someone's day in some way, giving a laugh or two, helping with a random issue, giving someone a sense of belonging... But as long as I think I have made a difference in some way it is more than worth it for me even if I never see the person again :D

hhhmmm... i do it to pass the time.. just bored..

actually.. many have helped me.. and I am very grateful... so i help others that i can..with the limited info (not skill) that i have.

Okay so at the beginning of this year, I accidently bricked my Htc Desire CDMA by putting GSM partition tables on it. Well my first post was up, and the first person who answered me was SUroot. He was very quick, great help, and he suggested things to get my phone working. I remember how I felt after I got my phone working again. I was happy, excited, and I was so thankful.
Now I'm taking more control of myself, and helping others out on *androidforums.com*, just so they can have that happy/excited feeling that I once had.
Thank you SUroot!
Sincerely,
Liam
