Here maps

I have installed Here maps (excellent). I downloaded the UK maps, what i want to know is where it has installed to as i want to back up the maps. backing up the app only takes the app not the maps.
Other that that is there somewhere i can download the maps as an apk file.

On my device they are in /data/Media/0/Android/data/com.here.app.maps/files/.here-maps. I don't think you'll be able to access that without root.

The maps won't be available as an apk, as that's an app installer and they are not an app. The actual structure inside the directory I listed above is pretty complicated.

If you don't have root, I'd think maybe (?) Helium would work to back up the app and it's data (I think the maps are app data)

There is a setting to put them on your sdcard (actual sdcard NOT internal one). My maps are at ... /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.here.app.maps/files/.here-maps ... As they're there no need to back them up (though you do back your sdcard up occasionally don't you ...
). I've reloaded the app from TB a few times and had no problems with Here not picking up the maps location.

(That's on 5.0.1 GPE Samsung Galaxy S4).
