hi everyone. i have a hero 2000+ with dual sim running android 4.0.4. i would like to know if i can make any update to 4.2 j.p so my phone looks like an iphone 5.

Okay, you have me confused. You have an Android phone, on 4.0.4, you want to upgrade to 4.2 to make it look like an iPhone. I've run 4.0.4 and am now on 4.2... and I haven't found much in there to make it "look" different.

So if you could explain to us exactly what you're wanting (no widgets, etc.), we can try to help you or point you in the right direction. Thanks.
