Hero H400

I got this phone a month ago...
I was on my way home from walmart for less than 10 minutes my hero h400 was in my back pocket when i pulled it out my touch screen wasn't completely unresponsive. The cell phone works completely fine. It has a rectangle of what looks kind of like water but im not sure because i have not dropped it in water. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.?? Please help.

You could try a hard reset-

menu > settings > sd & phone storage > factory data reset

It's worth a try, but the screen may be broken. Good luck!
