Hero Internet Problems

Hiya,

I have had my HTC Hero for a couple of weeks now, and had no problems withthe internet. However, today it will not connect. It is saying "Web page not available". I don't know if it is important, but it always seems to be connected to Edge, and not any other type of connection. Could this be the problem?

I also use NetSentry, but I don't think this could be part of the problem, could it?

I would be very grateful for anyone's advice!!

Most of the times soft reseting the phone fixes the problems.

Try with Wifi instead of 3G/Edge so that we can eliminate the possibility of any device related issues.

Thanks for the quick reply. Um, I don't really know what a Soft Reset is. I just ha d aquick look, nd it looks like I need to get an App for it? If so, I don't think I can, as I can't get on the internet.

Or is it just much simpler than I think?

I am at work at the moment, but I think it briefly picked up Wifi earlier, as I could look at a web page for a little while - I think it was connected via Wifi. Now it isn't working. And I have also noticed that the arrows by the "E" are not showing data sent/received.
