hero rom issues

is it just me or does the hero rom seem really slow and buggy like it takes me a long time to get to the home screen and sometimes like 4 applications would force close and i would have to take the battery out to reboot is there an update for these issues coming out.

Yeah, most people aren't running Hero right now on their G1's. Everybody flashed it, tried it for a day, and went back to their old stand-by. Even the squished Hero isn't up to snuff.
 
Yeah, you can go back no problem. Just copy the update file to the card, wipe and flash again.
 
What is the current rom on my phone now? JF v1.51adp. I have had every single available rom on my phone except for cyanogen's roms & justanothercrowd's squished hero. Never had a single problem going from one to another. As long as you have the new spl applied, you're good to go from haykuro's stuff to the dude's stuff or anything in between. Remember to wipe, just like as a little kid!

Sounds Like you should write a review on the pros and cons, warnings and cautions on each one for the AF community here ... I will gladly make it part of the FAQ library

A nice comparison chart would be awesum..

If I had loaded and tried almost every Build as the poster claims then I would have glady reviewed them and posted them ...

Since when is reviewing Builds (that I have not Flashed) and writing reviews "My work" ? Posting them if they exist to the FAQ is a task i have accepted ...

I thought writing articles was your speciality ?? ... (but I wouldn't expect you to write an article on a subject you haven't researched and or tested) ... but that is just me :rolleyes:
