Had the phone for 3 months now, things are going downhill. The trackball now only works in one direction , this. Is annoying but I don't use it much. The update is buggy . Problems now with WiFi and mobile connection widgets not working. While changing in settings works. Search facility in landscape unusable. Messages access slows and freezes. All in all its loosing its sparkle.

Agree! My trackball works in 3 directions, so a bit better than yours, but still the first faul5 I've ever experienced on a mobile. Not a disaster, granted, but I know it's not the only one out there. Looking forward to the Sony-Ericsson X10 !

Have to agree with you about the mobile widget.
Mine stopped working yesterday.
Reinstalling does not help.

Trackball works fine.
