Hey all, another noob :P

Hi my name is Virulent, I am a current student at the Evocca College in Queensland, Australia, studying obviously 3d Gaming Design, Mobile Apps, and Implementation. I really am at a complete loose end with forums such as this, as my previous forum base is purely gaming and I guess looking at a forum filled full of potential friends, designers and people who are already involved in the industry I am a bit daunted. But hey, I guess if I just put the word out that I am very interested in your advice, your assistance when I ask a valid question, and hopefully your friendship (even though it can possibly only ever be over an electronic media) I will make a good start, and manage to claw my way into this amazing industry.
Bit about myself....about 25 years ago I studied as a traditional French Chef and ran several restaurants, I also ran a couple of Gothic nightclubs, featuring EBM and early trance. Electronic has always been a feature of my life, as Gaming both socially and professionally became a major part of my life. I took up Jewelery making 4 years ago due to a love of Lapidary, and found some of the more complicated 3d design programs such as Rhino expressively anal and quite difficult to manipulate, and due to no available courses in 3ed design i decided to do gaming design, to allow me to find a more user friendly system of designing Jewelery whilst actually learning something about an industry that has taken up such a large portion of my life. Interest has led to thinking that maybe I can also design apps and games, so here I am. Please if you want to interact with me, or can suggest forums withing this group that I can ask questions about apps and games on and reliably get good, productive answers to, I would appreciate your advice.
Oh and Add Me as a friend, I like friends

Welcome to the Android Forums.

You'll find there are a lot of members willing to help out with anything you may need answered or advice on. I have only been a member for a short while and am already feeling at home thanks to the awesome community here.

I suggest browsing the forum and get a little acquainted with its contents. It will better help you to find the proper location to post to get any questions you may have answered by the appropriately versed members. If posted in the wrong area, mods will likely move it to the correct place, but are very busy and posts can sometimes be overlooked, obviously not intentional.

Scroll through the directories of the forum and start adding your expertise, or questions. :)
I hope you have as great of a time being a member here as I have had so far.

Enjoy.
