So far I love the phone but like many am not real thrilled with the batt life.
Been researching how to extend it.
I have been seeing "rooting" what does it mean/do for my phone.

You can save a little battery in a couple of general ways (turn down screen brightness, reduce syncing interval, etc.).

Rooting is gaining access to special privileges and functions on your phone that the manufacturer and carrier don't normally allow you to have. This includes running special programs and others versions of Android that aren't sanctioned by the carriers.
