I'm relatively new to Android(I've played around with my fiance's Incredible), But I just bought an HTC Evo. I was lucky and got one without a contract for a pretty good deal (just over the with-contract price) At this point I have to stick with At&t on my eternity, But eventually I plan on dropping it and using the Evo full time. For now its my media/app/wifi device.
Me and a few close friends/relatives are also talking about getting into android development.(a few of them code and I know coding basics and do graphic work) So any suggestions on getting started there are welcome.
Right now I'm trying to figure out if/how to set it up to make wifi calls with google voice (because it requires texting verification, and my phone doesn't have a plan attached)
Oh.. and does anyone know whether the Incredible charging cable works for Evo? (only have a car charger; ordered ordered a wall charger, but it hasn't come yet and my battery is dying...)
