Just got my first Android phone, an HTC Desire as free upgrade from o2 UK. I had wanted a Desire Z for the flip out qwerty keyboard, but it isn't currently available on o2 and I couldn't afford to get just the handset SIM free. Either way though I swapped out of my old phone, which I loved, my iPhone 3G 8gb, which was my first smartphone after a string of Sony Ericssons (t610, w810, w880) interspersed with Nokia and Moto (5510, 3310 and a v635).
So far, I've been rather enjoying the whole Desire experience especially the speed. Also loving the flexibility and greater scope to customise the phone. Need to grab a cheap SD card from somewhere though as the 4gb one it shipped with probably isn't big enough. Not a problem of course as it's only
