Hey! I thought Nexus was leading edge for updates!

I got the new Play Store on my Galaxy Camera, but not on my Nexus 7 :-).

I like it: There is finally an "Update 1" button available when there is only one app that needs an update, so you can one click update a single app just like the old store let you do when there was more than one app ("Update 2", "Update 3", etc).

This also solves the incessant problem I always had with Play Store telling me an update exists, but when I clicked on the app, it would say "Update? What update? I known nothing about any update!".

I guess Titanium Backup's market update helper is no longer needed :-).

It does seem random of when devices get the update for play store updates. My Nexus 4 has received it, but none of my other devices have. All are running 4.2.1 or 4.2.2.

 Nexus is cutting edge on ANDROID updates, not google apps. ;)

Would be nice tho to be ahead on those too... but hey we cant have everything yanno. lol

I really don't know what all the excitement about the app store is about. They are rolling it out in stages, honest does it really bother anyone if you get it today or next week? Still has the same content. If it was a system update then I could understand but even with that they are going to roll it out in stages.

Actually the damnedest thing is that my Nexus 7 still doesn't have it. Which is funny since my Galaxy Nexus has had it for over a week and even my Droid Eris (which shipped with Android 1.5 and I flashed to Gingerbread) got it as well at the same time.

I'll have to try that manual update.

I got the updated Play store sometime last week if I remember right. I'm not sure what triggered the update. I didn't do anything special, so I think it was just related to when my tablet happened to check for software updates.
