Hey I'm new, need some help

I'm not sure if this is the right section or anything or if anyone can even help me out, haha!

Ok, I just got a new Samsung Galaxy S ll, now I've had a good look around, I'm pretty familiar with everything...And I've decided I want to update to the new 4.0 software. Now how to I go about doing this???? Can anyone please link me to maybe info or sticky threads regarding this sorta stuff? Also want to know the in's and out's of my new phone so any info please post. eg: I really want to know if there is a program that you can use to sync my phone eg: iTunes, instead of going to 'my computer' etc...
