Help Hey need some help

Hey all.....I had my note 2 for almost 2 years and it has worked great....last night my phone did a factory reset on its own and when it came back on it was in factory safe mode(gray box with yellow text on the screens) and now am stumped on what to do.....

I tried holding power, volume up, and home buttons and doing a reset from there but still no fix...I have version 4.4.2 installed currently.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I think (in my opinion) is to either A: bring it to your Sprint store to have them flash the latest firmware, or B: do it yourself.
Without root, I think that is the only option.

In order to do it yourself, you would need to find the latest firmware at Sammobile.com and flash it via ODIN.
All the files needed are at Sammobile.com

If someone has another suggestion, that would be great, but that is all I found to get out of factory mode
