I just dumped my iPhone 3GS for the HTC Inspire, so I'm new to the whole droid thing. Still need to figure out how to transfer my pictures over from my laptop for contact and how do I get all of my music to my phone is on the top of my to do list. I'm sure that info is here somewhere, just need to start looking.

Most of the basic questions have already been answered. You should check out the HTC Inspire 4G forum for starters.
If you assign the pictures to contacts in gmail, using the web interface, they will show up on your phone. Or, if you want to assign them from the phone, plug the phone into your ps using the USB cable and select connect as mass storage. (you may have to pull down the notification bar and tap on USB connected).
Just copy them over to the sd card and when you re-mount the sd card, they'll show up in the gallery.
To copy music, use the same process. I keep my music in a folder called "music" on the sd card and organize them this way:
/music/artist/album/tracks.mp3
But it's really up to you, you can put them anywhere on the sd card.
