Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say hi.
I'm about to inherit a HTC Desire from my wife. She got it a few months ago, but now wants a blackberry.
I was looking at getting a new model smartphone, but since I have no experience, I think the Desire would be a good device to cut my teeth on.
I haven't looked into the possibilities of the Desire or Android, but this looks like the place to do it.
I'm looking forward to playing around and seeing what the fuss is all about.

Welcome to the Android Forums.

The Desire spec's out almost identically with the Nexus One (My daily phone). It is over a year old now and still have yet to find anything I like better. There are plenty of tweaks and options to make it more useable, so be sure to ask specific questions.
