Just got a Samsung Europa. New to Android, not to smartphones, apps, Rom flashing and all the rest. Used to have a HTC Artemis (back in the day when XDA devs was actually about XDAs) which came with Windows mobile 5. Custom ROMs were updated so frequently but always caused it to crash among other problems. Long story short, without trying to sound like a technophobe or Luddite I'm going to try steer clear of custom ROM's and anything with bricking potential, and look for alternatives where possible.
