Hey guys, I'm new here! I thought I'd begin with a short(ish) story of how I got started programming.
I've been a coder since I was 16 or so, I started with LSL modifying all sorts of scripts from other users and eventually started creating my own scripted doohickeys and selling them. After a few months I was able to buy my first high end graphics card!
Eventually I started playing around with other languages and settled into Garry's Mod and Expression2, creating hundreds of neat E2s and learning a lot from Sk89q(A lot of you probably recognize the name, he's created a many popular mods for various games - I've known him since I became an admin on his gmod server, Stramic years ago.)
A couple of years ago I started programming in .Net(C# Specifically) and started tinkering with all sorts of ideas, never really finishing any real projects, just learning. Now I use my own applications every day, the most used being an unreleased application launcher sidebar that I can't live without. I've since released a few useful programs on my cute little website but mostly I just write programs for fun, My external HDD and dropbox are filled with fun programs and game concepts I created just to have some good old educational fun.
And finally, I bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 a year ago and upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Nexus when it came out(Can this really be called an upgrade? It lacks many features the SGS2 had with no real improvements)
Since I then, I've been experimenting a lot with Java and Android and recently released my first application on Google Play.
