Heytell - What an App!!

it's a push-to-talk app. I don't see the need for these when we have text messaging and gtalk. But, to each their own.

This particular app works cross-platform with iOS. Unlike TiKL that only works with android. I personally don't use either one.

I use TiKL it's pretty nice. All of my family and friends with Android phones are able to PTT with me. You can even set it to do group conversations.

I do not use either, but TiKL is claiming cross platform as well. There was something about it on tikl's facebook page about it recently.

^^ My mistake. Last I had checked TiKL only worked for Android devices. They must have released an update resently. Too bad none of these apps work cross-platform with Blackberry. My wife still has the BB and she's really the only one I'd use it with.

been playing with HeyTell all morning with an Iphone friend. Cross platform def works, even does the geolocation of their phones. I say this is a win for fun walkie talkie fun

I love heytell - very useful for conversations while tied up with other things and also for work. I have been searching for a way to backup the messages to my personal computer or an external storage device as the messages are stored to the phone memory and can begin to take up a lot of space. Ideas?
