Hi, a NookNewb here...

[CarLoad]

HW and SW experienced on PCs (windows and some unix / linux).
Brand new to android OS.
Looking forward to learnin' all about it.
I've browsed a bit and plan to mod two nook-color's -
want to play a bit to decide among dual-boot internal vs. other options.
So I will likely have some questions! - TIA

Welcome to Android Forums, CarLoad.

All those issues have been discussed in the Nook Color forum (follow VoidedSaint's convenient link). You'll love modding the Nook Color. It's a great tablet and pretty forgiving.
