Hi All and quick question...

Hi Everyone,
Just picked up a Nexus S and so far I'm very impressed. I also have an S7 tablet, running 2.1, which is not a bad unit.

My wife liked the look of the Nexus S so much that she had to have one as well.

I was wondering what is the best task killer to run on the Nexus S?
Any help would be great.

Cheers,
Tom

Welcome to the Forums!

From what I've seen many say, task killer's are a bit of a waste of time on Android (or at least the newer versions), as the OS itself is pretty good at killing non-essential apps on it's own. They tend to use a fair bit of power n killing stuff that then has to re-open anyway.

A good place for you to ask any specific questions would be the handset's forum - Nexus S - Android Forums

Have fun on AF - it's full of people with great info! :)

Welcome to Android Forums!

The best task killer is the one built into Android to manage your tasks and memory automatically. Using a task killer app is not necessary and many times counterproductive.

If you feel you need one because the rep at the store told you that, they did you a huge disservice. If you have an issue, then it's better to resolve the problem than blindly shooting at the phone's memory.
