Hi all, sure this has been asked.

My daughter dropped her LG Optimus G and broke the screen, she has a ton of stuff she is about to lose (videos and pics). The phone has no removable sd card and when I plug it into the computer the computer (with windows 7) makes a noise but will not recognize any usb, even though it downloaded a driver. I don't know d**k when it comes to modding so should I just shoot the damn thing or can I save these items? thank you for any help.

Yeah, see a security measure to android is that it asks you what you want to do while plugged into a pc. I.e. disk drive or just charge. You need to be able to touch "disk drive" so you can retrieve the contents. Another option is to hope the touch works even if the screen is blank, and hope you hit the right button. Or connect to hdmi. But if touch input isn't working, well.. its been said. Just have no regrets when you shoot it at 100 yards lol :p

Welcome to Android Forums. I moved your question to the forum where your phone is discussed.

I do not use your phone. Your carrier may have solutions available that are not available directly to the end user. Try checking with them.
