Hi Android fans

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself.

I've just loved everything Android since buying my Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 in the UK nearly two years ago. I am from London but for the last ten years I have lived in the Languedoc, France.

I used to work in IT. I have been a Linux fan the last few years, mostly Ubuntu.
I am still using the original stock rom the phone came with - GB 2.3.4 XWKI4 although I have just rooted it. I am avidly searching all the time for more information on my phone, custom roms, recovery etc. and ways to get more enjoyment from my droid. I also have a Sony tablet S but that is not so much fun.

Lots of my googling has taken me to these forums so I think that is a good sign.

I'll maybe meet you on the forums ....
