Hi, changing from iphone apps to android need help!

Hi, I am looking to change over from making iphone apps. I joined this forums to see if I could find out info about how to develop apps.

I have tried and failed with installing the SDK on my windows machine due to eclipse not opening and giving me errors.

The main thing that I would like to know is can you develop apps in C++ for android? I am so confused about all of this command stuff why cant they just make a simple application to open and start developing like xcode?

Anyway, any help is welcome

No c++ can not be used ... and search the forums there are some guides to install the SDK & eclipse .. check in the developers forums on this site as well ... there is a IRC chat as well at irc.freenode.net #androidforums
