Hi Droids

Hi there...

I'm from Portugal and I've already learn a lot with you... Thanks for this forum...

I'm new in the Android community and user of this... But I'm fascinating with the "world of Android"...

I own a Samsung Galaxy Gio... Already Root him... 2nd day root... :) already "mix and pump" with rom... :)))

As I say, I'm new in all this "stuff"... if you have tricks and tips for my rooted Gio I appreciate...

I'm with 2 problems now... Can't delete 2 apps... Social Hub and MyVodafone... I think that I can't identify them in the app list... HELP Please... I don't need this 2 apps and they only occupy space in my "litlle" rom...

Thanks to all you Droid's

Welcome RibeiroDroid, glad to have you aboard!

Glad to see you are already properly using the site :)

Personally the apps should be able to be deleted, have you tried, if they are the SD card, to delete them manually on the computer by putting the SD card in it.

And you should be able to delete apps when you root, all apps. Maybe give us a little more information like what Rom you are using and we could help you out!

Thanks for joining :D:D:D

Hi Droid's

Thanks for your welcoming...
I've already know how to see if the apps are in sd-card or in the rom, but the apps that I want to delete are in rom... but... I've already install a "file maneger" app, and, in a litlle explore, I presume that I can see the app name in the file maneger... I will try later...

Now I am a litlle more calm with this all "stuff"... and I've already identify some mistakes that I made...

First - Never make a backup before remove app from rom... ups! :)
So, if you can tell me how to do it... In the future I'd like to use this possibility to prevent some disapoint...
Other thing that I already see, is that most of the apps have an .odex file associated... some I've already identify and deleted... others will stay in memory... I don't take note of what already deleted... (so excited that I am...)

I will try to go a litlle more slow and with a litlle more knowledge about all this "Android World"...

I want to do some things with my Gio... I want to make him a "Super Gio"... :) but I think it's better the first things, first...

Best Regards
