I'm trying to install a 64.gb .sd on a tab 2 10.1 but can't format on the tablet or computer. The messages are windows could not finish format or reader only.

Hmm, not sure what could be up with your SD card formatting issues...:dontknow:
You could ask the folks in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - Android Forums are and see if the folks there have experienced anything similar and have a solution for you.
I suppose it could be a case of a bad SD card, too--can you try another card and verify that the process (and equipment) you are using work on another known quantity?
