Hi everyone I am new the Droid. I have a Moto Droid and so far i am loving it. I know there is so much you can do with a Droid but dont know how, I would love some help. some things I would love to do is get or make a sweet looking home screen also I would like to know how to Root and is good or bad to Root. Thank everyone.

Welcome!!!! Try out the zedge app in market for wallpapers and ringtones, then head to mtot droid section as there are tons of very knowledgeable people in there with any answers you may need.

I'm rooted and loving it, running Froyo which is the os that ain't even out yet, and I'm using Launcherpro beta which you can find on the market. IMO its the best home replacement out right now.. But be sure to check out the Moto Droid and all things root Droid sections out. All your questions can be answered there. Welcome to the Android Forums!
