The play store is your best choice for any app. You can install and uninstall at any time, so if you feel an app is not to your liking, just uninstall it.
For full customization, I recommend nova launcher, from icons to home screen. Icon packs are needed to change them also. There's also widgets and widget creators for any given app. Have fun and try it out

Welcome! Feel free to browse around and ask questions. We are a very tolerant group and if anyone isn't tolerant we send a massive jolt of electricity through to their computers to correct their behavior! ;) :) :d
