Hi everyone, I am a newbie... just bought the Samsung Captivate, but am now thinking of switching it out for the HTC Inspire.. any help would be appreciate in assisting me with my decision... I am just left the Iphone..

I researched the Captivate and thought it had everything I was looking for...the HTC wasn't out yet and I have heard nothing but positive reviews for the HTC since it came out.. I am hesitant about jumping ship to HTC because I know that its going to be another fourteen or so months until I can upgrade again... I really like personalizing the phone as well as the newest features and of course speed is a major plus...I don't want to settle for the Captivate if the HTC is so much better
 
Here's the challenge... the life cycle for smartphones has dropped to less than a year. While the HTC may be the newest and greatest available to you today, it likely won't be a month from now.

Go down to a wireless store and spend some time with the HTC phone in hand. Make sure it looks OK, feels OK, functions the way you want it to.

Personally I have some issues with HTC over all of the plastic they use in their phones. That said... they make good phones! Samsung used to make great phones but they do tend to be somewhat quirky (e.g., KIES).
