Just purchased a Viewsonic ViewPad 7 as a replacement for my elderly Psion 3A (remember them?).

Finding my way around the Viewpad (it's very different) and trying to locate some apps that I need (a proper address book, that will take more than name, email and phone number) and something that will allow me to control the Viewpad via USB from a PC...

For your contacts, you should move them from "phone contacts" (yes, even though it's a tablet) to Google contacts. That way you can include much more information per contact as well as sync with Google.

As far as controlling the pad from a PC, it would depend on the level of control you are looking for, but you might try My Phone Explorer.
