Hi Metroid,
I've followed Galaxy S - All Things Root and stopped in Rooting-Unrooting http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s-all-things-root/163892-samsung-galaxy-s-root-guide-updated-19-18-pm-est-apr-08-2011-major-cleanup.htm.
I am in 2.3.6 but I am not an expert in rooting. Got that firmware level through Samsung Kies.
Question. Can I root with Super One Click ? and should I use it in Recovery Mode?
