Hi from a Desire HD user

Hi there,

I am here as, although I love my Desire HD, I am fed up with the battery running out by lunchtime. I am thinking a new ROM is the way to go...

It is not always Rom related, could be an app causing the issue, best place to find out is to post in your device forum, another note is that HTC are not know for they good battery life, if battery is a keep feature for you then there are apps that can help you out, and or a phone upgrade, Samsung seem to have the battery issues resolved.

Hey jonbutler! Yeah battery life on Android phones is always a tough balancing act, and is very dependant on the atmosphere you are in. But flashing a ROM which includes a custom kernel could definitely help you out. A lot of people also have success with an app called Juice Defender. Regardless, welcome to AF!
