Hi from an android newbie

I've been a Blackberry user for years and am switching to android. I'm on Verizon and my Droid X arrives in 2 days. I can't wait to join the android universe!:D

Any advice for 1st time android users? Apps I should download, etc?
 
I always think a good first time app is a music one! Then again I'm a huge music fan. I like Pandora myself as it customizes a "Station" based on your likes. ^.^
 
welcome to the site! i too left BB for the X and love it. i'd recommend liveprofile if you used BBM alot. it's very similar but there are other apps that will make it close to BBM too like kik.
