Saying hi from down under. Will be making the jump from old Nokia E63 to android phone - haven't decided which yet, comes down to Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Desire HD/Z or Motorola Defy.

So will be hanging around here to do the research and make the decision

Hi Connectandroid, I too am from Brisbane Aus, and looking for my first Android phone. Have you discovered which is the best one yet? If so, please share, I am a lady who does not quite understand all the techno babble yet, lol.

My female partner (smaller hands then me) finds the 4+ inch screen so large, it is almost a notebook computer. My large male hand on my HTC HD2 had trouble with portrait -mode input on the over-sensitive HTC touch screen.
