Hi everybody, I'm happy to be in the group with you today. I've been pondering this new Android environment and want to be part of it.
BTW, I'm officially an Old Fart now...past 66, which makes me an ancient creature to be entering new waters.
I was, once upon a time, proficient in BASIC, dBASE II and native HTML programming. Now, however, I'm just trying to get my brain wrapped around instances, classes, etc. Man...the terminology is KILLING me! So many concepts, so few brain cells! Oh well, it should be fun trying!!
The app I'm working on will basically be structured data-capture. Are there any open-source db's that work with Java? Or does JS itself incorporate multi-table databases in an integrated manner?
Thanks for having this great forum. It is wonderful being able to use your brains and talent to augment my limited amounts of both!
Best wishes to everyone and Happy Holidays!
