hello, my name is lenka denisa, i am from slovakia.
i am an owner of motorola backflip for about a month, but so far, it has been nothing else but a pure disaster!
i bought it online and the installed software (1.5) is italian, that's why i can't upgrade to 2.1 legally... i am also having problems with mms settings.
however, i hope, this forum will help me improve the relationship with my phone by getting some help

I would recommend asking in Motorola Backflip - Android Forums where owners of the same phone will be able to help you through the update. You have many options available, just take your time and make sure you fully understand the instructions before applying and changes.

Sorry to hear about the problem you're having. I'm guessing that you might have to "root" your device to the current Android version. Personally, I have no knowledge of how to root a device, but there are plenty of tutorial and instructions for you to follow. Also, you should try resetting the device to its factory default settings.
