Hi everybody,

I'm Ian, 49yrs old from England. I have a background in Windows PC's but very little knowledge of the android OS (when i was at school we had a telephone link to a college miles away. They ran our programs for us and sent us the printout and punched cards back a week or 2 later lol).

Hi Ian, welcome to Android Forums!

My high school experience was pretty similar. We'd connect to a mainframe using an acoustic coupler and the telephone handset. Aaah, the good ol' days.
