Help hi guys

hi,
finally i am relieved that my galaxy s2 from korea is working fine india but...
1.i can only access internet only by gprs not with edge ( no 3g for me)
2. whenever i make a call i get an option to korea or other countries, fortunately i am charged as local rates but the phones behaves as if i am in roaming area.

can u guys help me how to activate my edge internet access( i downloaded the edge settings from my service provider but no use)

i was told i need to root and flash a rom of indian i9100, is it possible to to do that as korean phones have different kernel and if possible which rom version should i use

Go into Settings>Wireless and network>Mobile networks

What does it say for Network mode? WCDMA only?
If so, change it to GSM/WCDMA (Auto mode) and that should make edge work.

But in the mobile network there are only
1 allow data roaming
2 access point
3 t roaming
And I have one more option below mobile network
3g network enable or disable

That t roaming is related to Korean Telecom
What should I do now
