Hi all

got a new phone which is the above one, seems to be ok, on a contract with t mobile at what i think is a fair price.

Dont find to much with the phone (sometimes it freezes then comes back to life)

Now lets get to the reason i come here, i have been reading regarding debranding and flashing.

this is all new to me, but after a little while i managed to create a goldcard without much trouble.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO WITH THIS NOW.

what i would like to do is possible debrand my phone
possible of rooting my phone (but again this is all new)

i have read through the stickys but this goes beyond me until i can get the grasph of it and i do want to do out that can brick my phone or leave it in an unusable state.

There is a one click tool that roots the DHD... you'll find a thread on it in the All Things Root section that was linked above.

thanks for the kind words and the time to take to post.

i bit the bullet and went for it,

i used the one click ace hack kit without a problem after i read the effen manual proper lol, that will teach me.

i am now rooted and running the hd revolution rom, some very nice touches in there such as the weather icons, photo album.

has any one got any roms them may recommend.

Hello darren. I'm happy to hear your root adventure turned out right for you. Your best bet for rom recommendations for your device should be in the root area that lunatic provided. Have fun.
