Hi. I am looking for a good suggestion

I and like most app lovers, have a lot of apps. I am looking for an app that I can get (I love free please) and place then in some kind of folder that have let's say, all my music apps, another would be, all my car apps, all my GPS apps, all my Calendar/date/appointment apps.
Anyone have a good-great app that I can use for my Droid 2?
I have looked for some but I guess I am looking in the wrong place.
I thank all for your suggestions. Like I said. "If it's free, it's for me".

If you're looking for folder organizers here are my favourite:

Go Launcher EX allows you to organize your app drawer into folders. Personally my favourite launcher.

And SiMi Folder Widget allows you to put folders on your home screen.

I use Folder Organizer. The lite version is free. One thing I really like is when you download a new app you get a notification stating that app isn't assigned to a folder.

I like Smart Shortcuts, and I know you can make folders in Android but I like being able to backup Smart Shortcuts with my other backups so I don't have to re setup all my folders everytime I change phones/ROMs. Also I like custom icons.

Yes but SiMi Folder is 10 folds better in my opinion.

Yeah I hear ya, and that's the beauty of Android. So many apps can replace or augment the default behavoir.

Even my apps do this. Android has Bluetooth sharing built in but no multi-select/playlist features/multiple file sharing/preview/etc.... and it's buggy as hell. Hence why I made my apps.

I just figured regular folders might be a better place for the OP to start

If you're looking for eye candy you should try some of the launchers.

I'd also consider spending a few dollars on whatever the ones are you like, almost all of them have a free trial you can try first so you know for sure you like it. I'll put a $ next to the apps I don't think have a free/trial version

with SiMi Folder you can change the Icon to whatever you want. So I have mine set up as transparent text pngs.
