Hi! I'm new here.

Hi there, this is my first post here, and I hope it to not be my last.
I just bought a HTC Salsa on eBay for quite cheap :)
I bought it because my old phone (Blackberry Curve) is completely dead.
The phone is due to be here on Monday! :D
I'm totally new to the whole Android thing,
am I able to use Google Play (Android Market or whatever it is called!)
on the phone I am getting?
I hope to stay around and post a bit, this seems like a pretty cool forum.

Welcome to the forums :)

It really depends on what applications you are downloading. Some can be a couple MB, others, like games can be up to 50MB.

Depends entirely on what you are downloading.

Hope this helps :D

The HTC Salsa has 250 MB of internal memory that can be used for storing apps; not a ton by today's standards, but it should still be sufficient for most of your needs. The Facebook app is about 20 MB; I'd say the average size of apps nowadays is 15-20 MB. Quick tip: make sure to go into your Apps menu (Settings -> Apps) every so often and clear out your apps' caches. Apps will often download extra little pieces of info to make themselves run faster; however, it can take up room that you might not have to spare. This is most common with the Browser app, as well as social media apps like Facebook.

Good luck!
