Hi Im new to this I just bought my frist G1 phone

I'm new to this. I just bough my first G1 phone I did have a apple iphone 3g and after a year and half started to have a lot of issue with it locking up and software updates which made the phone almost useless. I hope to have better luck with this phone. I'm a mac person. Thanks
