Hello all, newbie to Android. Not sure if this is an extension to AC (the layout is very similar) but glad for all of these sites and forums that helps us newbies!
Came from CB and a diehard BB fan. Still like BB but decided to take the plunge into Android (not a fan of Apple). So far, I'm really liking it. The only things I miss from my BB is the LED light (which I am using NoLed right now so it's not a big deal), keyboard(lol), and of course battery life (which is a BIG one; even after optimizing my phone it seems to drain quickly).
Things I love about this phone:
1. Screen-it's beautiful!
2. Camera-wow, don't need to carry around my digital anymore
3. The widgets(fun) and the apps(too many!)
4. Boot-up time- blazing fast!
The transition hasn't been as bad as I thought. Mostly it's getting used to the all-touch keyboard and seeing my battery drain (while sitting idle
).
Overall I'm not sad to have made the jump and am enjoying my shiny new phone
(p.s. Thanks for including an inernational SG2 forum! Appreciate it much! Also, been reading all the tips/tricks/help articles and all are very helpful. Thanks again to all who contribute!)
