Hi Everyone,

I am a "newbie" here from the Northern IL suburbs (between the WI border & Chi-Town). I have just purchased a T-Mobile Samsung T679 Exhibit II 4G Prepaid Android Smartphone. I am looking for a very sturdy & durable case for it. A friend has suggested that I purchase the following ....

T-MOBILE SAMSUNG GALAXY S 4G PREMIUM D3O BLK/CLEAR FLEX GEL/HARD SHELL CASE

because it has a harden, tough rubber edging to protect the phone if dropped.

Does anyone know about this cell phone case or has one for their Samsung Exhibit II 4G and how does it hold-up for you ?? Any comments or suggestions will be most greatly appreciated !! TIA - amorg777777.

The D30 is a great case, and was developed for the military. I would also get a screen protector for it....
 
Captain Bob - Thank you very much for your generous assistance. So this one should work well on my Samsung Exhibit II 4G .... that's great news !!
How about those expensive ZAGG invisible SHIELDS ?? They are pretty costly, so it seems like they should be "military grade" for that price. Do you know anything about those screen protectors ??

The D3O is a nice case, I use it, it doesn't add much bulk and I personally think it makes the phone even look better, plus it has very good protection.

I actually just ordered a zagg screen protector, if you do get one, make sure you search for a coupon, you can get 20% off.

If you don;t need a bullet proof case the TPU ones are very protective and cheap

BLACK GEL TPU COVER CASE FOR Samsung Galaxy W i8150 Exhibit II 2 4G T679 TG | eBay

I have this one and also the Qubits one from Amazon and they are both excellent.

I prefer the Skinomi screen protectors. They go on with fewer bubble and last forever.
 
I have the cheap gel TPU case from ebay also, and it seems more than adequate. I've dropped the phone a couple of times without incident.
