hi there

Hello, I'm new on here.

My name is Tracy and i want to get either an iPhone or an Android.

I dont really know anything much about why i should choose either one really. I like the camera on the new iPhone as its clear and light and has a flash. I like this standard if i get an Android but i dont really understand much about these things. Can anyone tell me about what phone i should get, and which provider maybe?

I like to look at the internet and text and phone people. I am really interested in putting photos on the social networking sites too as i never do with a normal camera. I also want a good video camera on it maybe..not essential.

Sorry to ask so much but who know were to start? xx

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Choosing a smartphone is a very personal thing. Rather than focusing initially on things like camera and video capabilities I'd suggest looking at the areas where you live, work, and spend time. Find a good carrier in the area with good wireless coverage.

Next look at what you want in a smartphone. In your case you mentioned a good camera and video capabilities. Using this and whatever other criteria you come up with you can now start looking at specific cameras. One thing you'll still need to do is look at your criteria and determine a relative ranking and importance for it. Is the camera function most important? Or is the reliability of the phone possibly more important?
