Hi there

Hi All,

Just joined the forum. My main mobile phones interest lies in 3d phones.
Anyone else interested in this mobile phones niche?
Any opinions about 3d phones?

Hello MizerAjkula . :hello: Great to have you here at Android Forums.

So, what 3D phone have you got? Me? I have the Evo 3D, and although it's not the latest and greatest anymore, I'm still pretty happy with it.

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy your time here at AF, and if there's something we can help you with, please feel free to ask. :thumb:

Eyebeam,

I don't have a 3D phone yet, but I run a 3D phones website because I'm very interested in 3D technology on mobile phones. My next phone, that I'll buy next year, will probably be a 3D phone if somebody comes out with one.

How do you like your Evo 3D? Do you use any of 3D features on the phone?

I like the phone quite a bit. It's been a really solid performer, and I've had no major, or even many minor, quibbles with it. My wife like her's too. And while it's been a great phone as well, I suspect that that has as much to do with the fact that hers is purple, as it does performance. :p;)

As for the 3D aspect of it, at first I thought it was great. But to be honest, after a bit of time the novelty wore off. I still use the camera in 3D some, but other than that I've found myself rarely doing much in 3D. The 3D game and movie selection is pretty limited IMO, so other than the camera, there's just not a lot to be done in 3D.

I'm not trying to sway you from getting a 3D phone if that's the way you want go - but if it were me, I'd not consider that a main criteria in selecting a phone.

I understand. Do you use 3d camera to watch 3d on the phone, or on a 3d tv?

3d technology is not there yet, but who knows, maybe we'll have better 3d phones around soon.

Strictly on the phone. No 3D TV for me - yet. Still waiting for someone to make one that's actually comfortable to watch.
