Hi I am pratik from INDIA just completed my Engineering and I got Samsung I7500 my first android phone 2 months back what i like about it is that there are no of usefull apps freely available for it but i am now bored using the 1.5 ver and hopin for a update....I have joined this community to know more about the phone and the OS-Android

The I7500 is my phone too, so I'm pretty knowledgeable about it. Be sure to check out our subforum, where you'll find information on how to update to 1.6 (there is a nice ROM that allows overclocking of the CPU up to 700Mhz instead of 500Mhz, which makes a nice difference, it's Galaxo).

Some people are working on GAOSP, which is a 2.1 Android ROM. Not everything is working right now (such as camera and bluetooth), but you can still try it out. Make sure to read the FAQ or Tutorials list first.
