I love my new Droid Eric but really want to make the most of it...so I am, here with hopes of getting some help!!

I'm assuming you mean the Droid Eris - in which case I convinced both my parents to get one. It is a neat little phone that can do the basic fun android stuff. I got them into Slacker Radio using it for their music (until they feel comfortable moving their own mp3s around onto the phone) and the Car Panel for navigation.

Just be sure to put the settings widget on one of your home screens for easy access - turning off Wifi and 3G can save you battery life when you just want a phone! Hope that helps.
