I'm Danton... been a long time observer of the forum. Finally decided to jump on board.
I had the G1 nearly as soon as it came out. Then, for some reason, got convinced by two too lovely ladies to get the Motorola Cliq XT instead of (at the time) the MT3G.
Since then, I have been battling tooth and nail against Moto and T-Mo.
In the meantime my old G1, 2 years old, runs a smooth Froyo CM6 (had to change the launcher, though).
I considered getting the G2 or the MT4g, then use the Cliq XT as target practice/paper weight or to send it to Chuck Norris so he can use it as bait for the evil phone robbers in Texas.
But instead, I blew up the Moto forum by posting the evidence that they would never update the cliq XT, forcing them into acknowledging it publicly. (or so I believe), then decided to mod my Cliq XT and bring it to 2.1 and make a great gift for my lil' sister. My sister is too nice to receive the only device in the world still running 1.5 AND motobleeeargh.
And I will get the mt4g, finally. Or the G2. Or the MT4g. Or the G2. Aaaargh!
