Since there technically is no Android tablet called an iPad, I'm guessing that your tablet is an epad, eped, apad, or one of many other variants of Chinese knockoff tablet. What application where you running on the tablet when it gave you the "Force Close" error?
Much of the available storage in your tablet should be on an installed micro SD card. Have you tried reading that card on another computer? Was the card formatted on the tablet before use? If it was formatted on a PC then you likely need to make sure that it was formatted using the FAT32 file system. Otherwise Android won't be able to read it. Lots of questions I know... but most are needed to try to determine what's causing your issue and why.
